The Club

Barston Young Farmers Club was founded in 1946 and is one of 11 clubs affiliated to the Warwickshire Federation of Young Farmers. Barston YFC is for 10 to 26 year olds with an interest in the countryside, but being a farmer is not compulsory! We run varied programme of events to encompass the whole age spectrum of our members. Events include guest speakers, sports, activities and social events. We also participate in many County run activities ranging from rallies to pub quizzes.

Barston YFC is run by it’s members for it’s members and is a great place to meet new people and make friends, both within the club, and across the county.
Each year we choose a charity to raise money for. Our chosen charity for 2007 was the Meningitis Trust and in 2008 we chose the Motor Neurone Disease Association. We hold several fund raising events for our charities including Quiz Nights and Clay Pigeon Shoot This year we will be raising funds for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
